My Spiritual Journey

Thirty five years ago, I began my journey along my Spiritual pathway. At first I stumbled around, not really knowing what it was all about or what was expected of me. Religious beliefs didn’t sit right with me, I couldn’t see sense in it. It seemed to me to be a tool to keep the people at bay by using the fear of God. Although I found that I did, and also wanted to believe in God, the churches didn’t help the situation. It was always there way or the highway so to speak.

When my first daughter was only a few weeks old I wanted to get her christened, just like everyone did. The church told me I had to go through several weeks of religious study, go to church every week for six weeks and agree to bring my child to church every week thereafter or they would not allow her to be christened. This went down badly and left scars. I didn’t accept blackmail from a vicar, harsh words I know but it is what it boiled down to. I was hurt, this wasn’t what God and Jesus wanted, it was simply a church needing numbers to keep a vicar in a job. I remember a line in the bible where Jesus said, “Bring the little children unto me” – but I don’t remember seeing, “Or else!”

 

Exploring alternatives

I met some like minded people and began going to spiritual churches, at the end of a service they always used the last half hour with a medium who gave messages from spirit. I was in awe of this. This was fantastic and these people made sense….Hooray! They didn’t tell me to believe in this or that, they told me to look inside myself, and I did find a lot of answers but even more questions. So I was lost again for a few years.

Later in years I met a beautiful angel called Sara. She is the kindest, most loving soul I have ever met. The aura around her is like a magnet that attracts your soul to hers. On this earth she is a naturopath, and our first meeting was when I introduced my husband to her as he suffers very badly with cluster headaches. Sara held meditation groups and sometimes workshops but after awhile she talked to me about the Munay-Ki.

The Munay-Ki comes from a Quechua word that means ‘I love you.’ The Munay-Ki are the nine rites of initiation to become a person of wisdom and power who has accepted the stewardship for all creation. The rites are common to all shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed in different forms and styles in various cultures.

This beautiful angel shared these nine rites with me during a very powerful spiritual week held in seclusion. It was an event that would change my life, my being and what I stood for. I see beauty in everything, everyone, and love and energy have whole new meanings. It’s also through these rites I have been allowed to see and speak with spirit, angels, archangels, ascended masters and guides. I use the tarot as a tool for direct communication to help you with questions and spiritual guidance along your daily journey.
